Original Source: Pink Paradise. A Styled Bridal Shoot at Denton Hall
It’s a case of go bold or go home with today’s styled shoot. We’re sharing a dramatic and dynamic cocktail of bright florals, tropical foliage, punchy pinks and cute corals with the stunning Denton Hall Palmery as a backdrop.
The passion of the stylist and the suppliers involved is evident in this shoot, creating a little patch of paradise at Denton, and even we’re finding it hard to believe this one’s really all set in Yorkshire! ‘Colour Pop in The Palmery’ has been pulled together using an all local, Yorkshire-based dream team but with concepts usually seen in more exotic climes – which just goes to show that up North, we can make any style work!
You’ll find details that are a little different at every turn here and yet, there’s also something elegant that’s still quintessentially English about it too. From stationary to styling, florals to food, we’ve got all the inspo you need to recreate this look yourself and build a big day with impact. We’ve been chatting to Gillian Neild from Where Bees Meet to get the low down on the styling of the shoot…

INSPIRATION
Gillian says: This shoot was inspired by my passion for styling unique spaces with bold designs.
It was important to me that the style was dynamic, but also true to nature throughout. We achieved this with the use of lush greenery and enticing foliage; whilst also being bold and going beyond greenery alone. The Palmery evokes a tropical feel, so this was introduced into the concept through the use of dynamic pinks, a touch of coral and gold accents. All of the creative team embraced the greenery and used pops of colour in their work with stunning effect.
