Original Source: Elegant touch – a styled shoot at The Tetley
Today’s beautiful styled shoot spotlights the gorgeous new clay floral, pearl and opal hair accessories collection from The Bobby Pin – one of this year’s hottest trends in bridal styling.
Led by The Bobby Pin’s Lisa Steane, the shoot took place at the contemporary, industrial backdrop of The Tetley art gallery in Leeds, a former working brewing characterised by lots of historical charm and art deco features. It’s the venue of choice for cool, modern couples.
Simple accents of black and white combine with hints of metallic for a pared back, luxe look, offset by beautiful faux florals and striking neons. As for the bridal attire, this is anything but predictable – showcasing a crisp white jumpsuit and an embellished bodycon dress.
Of course, extra special attention was given to the hairstyling within this shoot to really show off the tres sophisticated hairpieces. A messy ponytail and low textured bun both perfectly illustrate how to add that little hint of glitz on your big day, whatever your style or theme. Want to see the gorgeousness for yourself? Here’s Lisa to share all the exquisite details…

Location & inspiration
Lisa says: The White Collection shoot was for the new 2020 collection for The Bobby Pin. The inspiration behind the shoot was to reflect the new headpieces in the collection. All the accessories are made of white clay florals, white pearls and opal stones – a huge trend for 2020, so the shoot’s décor had to compliment these pieces.
The shoot was very personal to me. I started my career out of university at Tetley Brewery in 2004 and I always loved the old brewery building. It has so much history and still has the old lift shaft as an original feature. I also wanted an urban industrial setting and know that The Tetley is now a very popular gallery and wedding venue for cool, modern couples.
