Today’s styled shoot showcases a new wedding venue in North Wales – the beautiful Ystrad Farm. Not only is this a glorious working farm in the most awe inspiring surroundings overlooking a lake, forest and a range of mountains, it’s also where owners Ceri and Jane tied the knot – so they know a thing or two about making the most of this gorgeous industrial-style barn and its epic outdoors space!
With a handpicked selection of local suppliers on board, the shoot combines all things modern with a nod to the enviable rustic setting. Natural hues and dark wood are teamed with soft, texturised fabrics and patterns for a splash of contemporary sophistication. Tall tapered candles, meanwhile, soften the ambience.
In keeping with the wild and free surroundings, the bride’s bouquet is loose and unstructured for that ‘just been freshly picked’ look, with table centre pieces and the beautiful, minimalistic cake further accentuating these foraged feels.
